Basic Obedience (open to all ages)
Cost: $135.00
Class length: 6 weeks
Wednesday: 6:30 p.m. - 7:30 p.m.
Learn fun and humane based training to teach your dog the basics of obedience. Walking on a loose leash, sit, down, stay, come when called, attention, targeting, place and an additional fun trick will be taught.
Canine Good Citizen Testing
Cost: $5.00
($5.00 for test - call for schedule)
Animal Assisted Therapy (Delta)
Cost: $150.00
Class length: 4 weeks plus a 1-hour test
Monday: 6:30 p.m. - 7:30 p.m., Class offered 3x per year
Prepares handlers and dogs for the skills required to become a successful therapy providing team. Handlers learn how to properly maintain the safety and mental attitude of their dogs for enjoyable volunteering. Dogs will be introduced to hospital equipment and will practice visiting etiquette.
